AriesWorks Entertainment is happy to announce that Haunting Villisca is taking two exciting steps forward in the coming weeks!

First, a reminder about the screenings of both Haunting Villisca and the behind the scenes documentary, A Ghost of a Chance: The Making of Haunting Villisca at the Dead of Winter Film Festival in Decatur, Illinois March 1www.prairieghosts.com/winter.html

Then, we will be offering the long-awaited Special Screening of the completed version of Haunting Villisca at the Rialto movie theatre in Villisca, Iowa on Saturday and Sunday, March 29 & 30!

This will be the first Iowa showing of the finished feature. The people of Villisca, Red Oak and  Southwest Iowa have given us much support, so we want them to be the first in the state to see our recently completed movie.  (About a year ago, there was a Cast and Crew screening of the work in progress version at the 2006 Wild Rose Independent Film Festival at the Fleur Cinema and Cafe in Des Moines.)

The Villisca screening festivities will offer music by Bowman and Brown; featuring singer/guitarist/actor Jeffrey Brown, who wrote "The Ballad of J. B. Moore" for Haunting Villisca's soundtrack, and who also appears in the movie.

Darwin and Martha Linn, owners of the J. B. Moore Home (the Villisca Axe Murder House) where a large portion of the movie was shot, also are stars of the movie and will host the event with us, as will other cast member TBA. Due to a growing interest in Haunting Villisca from sales agents and distributors, this Special Screening is a fundraising event to cover marketing costs and continue the distribution phase of the movie.

The Saturday March 29 screening of Haunting Villisca will begin at 7:00 pm and will be followed by a 9:45 pm screening of the behind the scenes documentary, A Ghost of a Chance. The Sunday matinee of Haunting Villisca is scheduled for 2:00pm with A Ghost of a Chance following at 4:45.  Admission to Haunting Villisca is $10 and A Ghost of a Chance is $5. Both shows may be purchased for a combined reduced price of $12.

An optional buffet dinner will be held on Saturday March 29 at 5:30 pm at the historic Villisca Bank. The dinner tickets must also be purchased in advance. All tickets may be purchased in advance by visiting www.villiscaiowa.com. Each cast and crew member will be offered a comp ticket for the films, but must reserve the ticket in advance. Due to limited seating, please purchase tickets and reserve comp tickets early!

We are extremely pleased to offer this event! Please forward this email and spread the word to friends and family who may want to know about this before all the tickets are sold out! For information about the event, contact Darwin Linn at 712/621-4291. For further info on Haunting Villisca and A Ghost of a Chance, contact Kimberly Busbee at bobbusbee@aol.com or 515/707-1533.
